Actually this is a lexical game. Lexic- (that has been related to dictionary/words). In old English there was not spesific classification about mammals in family canidae. So the "dog" term had been used as classification of jackal, dingo, dhole, and other primitive canis genus.

I have given hidden clues: types of dogs I have, i.e Terrier, Shepherd and Hunting dogs; and breeds. When we talk about dog, it could relate to cannis lupus (wolf) - cannis lupus familiaris (domesticated dog). In that link there are dingo, and also jackal.

Man has been breeding any types of dog (include wolves and foxes) to be used as man's partner.

And the answer is....

God created dog (old/primitive canidae) and man also has been creating any types and breeds of dog (modern breeds of dog.)
